UK is set to be hotter than Monaco, Madrid and Barcelona this week as a scorching heatwave arrives.Those who can may be flocking to beaches on Wednesday and Thursday with 18C or 19C highs predicted by forecasters, easily topping the 11C daily average for March.
Whereas, the outlook for Europe's typically sunny spots looks more gloomy. According to BBC weather forecaster Tomasz Schafernaker: "In the south of the country temperatures could peak around 17C or 18C."While Met Office forecaster John Hammond of weathertrending said: "Spring will be in the air, with a gentle breeze from the warming continent and temperatures rising through the teens."Tuesday will be dry in the South-East, with the North-West's rain spreading on Wednesday, but fine and sunny from Thursday for the UK."According to weather.com, temperatures in Monaco on Wednesday and Thursday will only hit 13C or 14C.
Rain is forecast in both Madrid and Barcelona with the mercury there only set to hover at around 13C to 16C. Fortunately it looks as if the warm weather is something we will have to get used to with an even hotter heatwave possibly coming next month.
