Dancing on Ice fans were left "feeling sick" after ITV producers had tested out high-tech equipment on the show.Many viewers demanded that they would be "switching off" the ITV programme after they'd tuned in to watch ice-skating champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.The British legends had hoped to win over the audience with show stopping performance that was filmed in one shot by a flying drone.Dancing to the Beatles' Lucy In The Skye With Diamonds, the camera crew were able to film the icons from a very different view point which was off putting to some at home.With the camera circling around the rink, many viewers complained that they had been left feeling dizzy.Many fans tweeted that they'd been overcome with "vertigo" from watching the performance and would therefore be switching channels as a result.One tweet read: "#dancingonice that made me feel sick watching that drone filming."A second agreed: "#dancingonice Well that was a shame, couldn't watch Jayne and Chris via drone - head wrecking, motion sick!""Don't know about anyone else, but that made me feel quite sea sick #DOI #DancingOnIce," wrote a third.A fourth complained: "Routine was great- but you could barely see it and it made me feel like I had vertigo. SAS scrambled to Ukraine to eavesdrop on Russian troops as fears grow over invasion
SAS has been scrambled to Ukraine as Britain pulled staff from its embassy amid fears a Russian invasion is imminent.The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said staff were being withdrawn from the British Embassy in Kiev in response to the growing threat from Russia’ - though it will remain open for essential work’.Just 30 diplomats - including the ambassador - will remain.Non-essential staff are also being evacuated from the US and Australian embassies.UK special forces troops will team up with their US counterparts on the ground in Ukraine to snoop on the movements of more than 100,000 of Putin’s troops which have amassed on the border.Armed for their own personal protection but under strict orders not to engage Russian forces the UK unit includes specialist electronic warfare operators.They are operating in freezing conditions to hoover up communications transmissions from Putin’s forces.In some stretches of the border Ukrainian and Russian troops are dug-in just a few hundred yards apart.At night both sides engage in regular fire-fights, and Russian forces have used drones to scout out Ukrainian positions.The 40-strong UK team is working with an American unit from the US European Command Special Operations which also has a training team in the east advising Ukrainian special forces.A second British special forces team is deployed in western Ukraine monitoring Russian war games in Belarus which commenced this week adding to the tension and ramping up invasion fears.A military source said the UK presence in the east of Ukraine was vital in collating intelligence, adding: "Let’s be clear they will be doing exactly the same."We know they have Spetsnaz units on the border."Our people are simply listening and
