Carlos Pena has ended an unwanted record after scoring for the first time in three years. The midfielder moved to Ibrox in the summer of 2017 as one of Pedro Caixinha 's signings but had a difficult time in Glasgow.
Though he scored four goals in 12 Premiership games but was hampered by problems with alcohol. After loan spells at Cruz Azul and Necaxa his contract was terminated in February 2019 and Pena's career has been a struggle in the intervening 18 months.After a failed move to Polish side GKS Tychy he had a seven-game spell with Correcaminos in the Mexican second tier.
