Hiatus Kaiyote have revealed that they have had much of their equipment stolen in a recent robbery, and asked fans to keep an eye out.The band shared the news on social media yesterday (March 11), confirming that they have had thousands of dollars worth of gear stolen from them, leaving them “absolutely gutted”.The incident took place at their storage space in Preston, Victoria. Isle Of Wight Festival has confirmed more acts for its 2025 line-up, including Razorlight, English Teacher, Yard Act and more.The annual event is due to take place from June 19 to 22 at Seaclose Park, and back in September it was confirmed that Justin Timberlake, Sting and Stereophonics would be joining as headliners.A new batch of acts have now been added to the line-up. Thom Yorke have announced their debut album ‘Tall Tales’, and have shared their latest single ‘This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice’.The track features a pulsing beat along with a swirl of synthesisers and the Radiohead frontman’s soft voice singing: “I’m not your problem to be corrected / I can’t function with your mind injected,” over the eclectic backing track.‘This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice’ also comes with a vivid music video directed by visual artist Jonathan Zawada, who is known for his multi-faceted approach that incorporates both analogue and digital techniques. Counting Crows have announced a 2025 UK, European and North American tour, titled ‘The Complete Sweets! Nick Cave is set to share a global stream of one of his shows in Europe last year.Titled Wild God – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Live In Paris, the stream is set to show Cave’s full live show from his recently completed number of UK and European tour dates.The footage was captured at the music icon’s show at the Accor Arena in the French Capital last November, and marked the final date of the band’s extensive European tour. Sam Fender‘s new album ‘People Watching’ a secret for over two years.The brass band, comprised of musicians from Stockton-on-Tees and Seaham, appeared on the track ‘Remember My Name’, which was inspired by the relationship between Fender’s grandparents.In an interview with BBC News, band secretary Peter Lawson said that they first received the call in March 2023, and began recording with Fender a month later.During recording sessions, Lawson said the ‘Hypersonic Missiles’ singer was a “down-to-earth lad” and was so emotional after hearing rehearsals that he asked if he could sing the song live with the band.“He was given one of the band’s concert uniforms and he wore the uniform all day,” Lawson, who has been a member of the band for 55 years after joining when he was 11 years old, said. “It’s a great thing to be part of.

MJ Lenderman and Animal Collective are among the artists who have contributed to a new benefit album for victims of Hurricane Helene in Asheville, North Carolina.In September, Hurricane Helene hit the Southeastern states of the US, laying waste to areas of Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and many more. The hurricane resulted in an estimate of 221 deaths and $78.7 billion in damages.Now, a new compilation album ‘We Love It Here’ has been released to raise funds for Lamplight AVL – a nonprofit that supports those in Asheville’s arts community impacted by the disaster.

Frightened Rabbit‘s late frontman Scott Hutchison – is set to be reissued with a limited edition zine.The reissue of the self-titled LP – which is Hutchison’s first and only album of his solo project – is set for release on May 2 and available for pre-order here. The new vinyl will come with a zine containing recollections from the time and unseen photos from the making of the album.Originally released in August 2014, Owl John was a way for the late Hutchison to recuperate after a lengthy touring campaign.

Los Campesinos! have broken down the “financial restrictions” of touring and revealed a significant “loss” from a one-off show in Dublin.The band posted the breakdown of finances on their website in hopes that it would provide insight to fans into what it takes to go on tour.“We always get asked ‘why don’t you ever come to play in XYZ’, and, though flattered, I personally also feel frustrated that there’s a lack of understanding as to the financial restrictions touring bands often face,” the website post read.“I thought it might be interesting to break down the finances involved in playing one-off shows, or shows in locations that aren’t the approximately 25 different cities we know that we have a relatively large fanbase in. I will add, the following isn’t a breakdown of what it would cost every band to play this sort of gig, it’s a breakdown of what it specifically costs Los Campesinos! to do a gig like this.”The breakdown of costs included money made from show fees and merch sales, as well as outgoings including travel, haulage, accommodation, crew wages and essentials such as food.In total, for the one-off gig that the band played at Dublin venue the Button Factory, they earned £6,151.59.

Pete Doherty has shared a new health update and reflected on the “hurtful” comments people have made about him.The Libertines frontman and soloist made the comments during a new appearance on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, where he shared a new update on his health and said that he is now wearing orthopaedic shoes.It comes after the artist revealed last month that he is at risk of having his toes amputated due to his ongoing health conditions. This is because of his type 2 diabetes, which he was diagnosed with last year, and led to him claiming that he “was healthier when he was on heroin”.Last month he told fans in Munich that doctors advised him to stay off his feet “as much as he can” to avoid having any amputations.
