Yungblud has defended his new festival, BludFest, from people who have questioned the intent behind the event.The Doncaster artist announced the event with a free show in Camden Market on Monday (March 18), confirming that it will be headed to Milton Keynes Bowl on Sunday 11 August – featuring a headline set from Yungblud alongside a line-up featuring recent collaborator Lil Yachty, as well as Soft Play, Nessa Barrett, The Damned, Lola Young, Jazmin Bean and many more to be announced. PinkPantheress has been named the winner of the BBC’s Sound Of 2022 poll. The bedroom producer with songs that average less than two minutes came ahead of Wet Leg, Mimi Webb, Lola Young and Central Cee.“I’m honestly gassed, my dad’s going to be so happy”, says PinkPantheress of her win, speaking to BBC News.

Holly Humberstone has been announced as the winner of this year’s BRITs Rising Star award, ahead of Bree Runway and Lola Young.
