Bree Runway has shared her new single, ‘THAT GIRL’ – you can listen to the track below.The rising London star, who landed the top spot in this year’s NME 100 list, is back with her first new music since the release of her March single ‘Somebody Like You’.Speaking about ‘THAT GIRL’, which was produced by EASYFUN, Bree said: “I’ve been on a mini hiatus and there’s no better way to remind you that I’m THAT GIRL. Bree Runway has confirmed that she will release new music at some point this month.The London singer-songwriter and rapper, who featured in the NME 100 2022, shared her latest single ‘Somebody Like You’ back in March. It followed on from the track ‘Pressure’ and last year’s team-up with Glass Animals, ‘Space Ghost Coast To Coast’.Last Saturday (September 3), a fan on Twitter asked Runway when more new material would be arriving.

Olivia Rodrigo has won Best New Act In The World Supported By CanO Water at the BandLab NME Awards 2022.The US singer-songwriter came out on top among the international slate of nominees, which included Bad Boy Chiller Crew, BERWYN, Bree Runway, Wet Leg and Yard Act. Dublin band Inhaler, Nigerian singer Tems, King Stingray from Australia and Shye of Singapore were also nominated in the same category.The gong was presented by It’s A Sin actor Nathaniel Curtis and Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore.

The nominees for this year’s BRITs Rising Star award have been announced. And they certainly are Bree Runway, Holly Humberstone and Lola Young.“I feel so honoured to be recognised by the BRITs in this way”, says Bree Runway.

The BRIT Awards have announced the three finalists for the BRIT Rising Star for 2022. 

Holly Humberstone, Bree Runway and Lola Young have been shortlisted for next year’s BRITs Rising Star award.As was the case in 2018 and 2020, all three nominees for the prize (fka the Critics’ Choice award) are female solo artists. Griff took home the statue at the BRITs 2021, with Celeste winning at the previous year’s ceremony.The BRITs Rising Star award, which is judged by a panel of industry experts, recognises British acts that had not had a top 20 album or more than one top 20 single before October 31, 2021.Humberstone latest EP, ‘The Walls Are Way Too Thin’, came out this month.

Bree Runway has announced her first ever headline tour, with a trio of shows booked for 2022 – check out the dates below.Following a pair of shows at London’s Colours back in September, Runway has confirmed that she’ll be heading out on tour in March 2022, taking in Manchester, Birmingham and London.Tickets for the shows go on sale on Thursday (November 18) and will be available here.

Chlöe Bailey has dropped her debut solo single "Have Mercy." Bailey, better known as one half of Chloe x Halle alongside her sister, has also shared a video for the track. The visual features impressive choreography plus cameos from rapper Bree Runway, actor Rome Flynn, and the Tina Knowles.
