Yungblud has teased a new era by returning to social media with a new look.It comes as the singer – real name Dom Harrison – has taken a step back from social media in recent months, and has now posted his first new update.For the new post, Yungblud has deleted all of his past posts on his Instagram page, and shared a new photo that sees him sporting a new look. It shows him standing topless in front of a wall of Marshall speakers and holding a microphone, while the caption simply reads: “Hello”.His bio on the page now reads the same, and the only other thing listed is a link to his website which gives fans the option to sign up for updates.It isn’t yet clear what Yungblud is hinting at with the post, although it does seem to indicate that a new announcement is on the way – potentially for new music or new tour dates.

Yungblud has covered the KISS hit ‘I was Made For Loving You’ for the soundtrack for Ryan Gosling’s new action-comedy The Fall Guy. Yungblud’s take on the song starts off stripped back before blossoming into a rockier song closer in style to the icons’ original 1979 song.

As I was writing the song, I was visualising the video in my head, it literally helped me get the words down on paper.“I knew it had to be shot in Camden Town and I wanted to be walking side by side with my younger self, guiding him through a fucked up world based on real memories and people I have encountered in my life. Almost a message to myself saying that life doesn’t always have to be so deep and there is beauty to be found in chaos and opportunity in disaster.”Harrison met the actor playing his younger self, Colt, while he was filming a live session in New Orleans.

Yungblud has announced details of his upcoming short film ‘Mars’, sharing the official poster on his social media – see below.The film is based on Yungblud’s song of the same name, with the artist explaining on Instagram: “This all came from the idea that we could facilitate bringing characters to life by assembling a team of cast and crew that fully represent the communities who’s stories we wanted to tell.“We set out to bring talented creatives together, some experienced, some whose star was already rising and some who’d never been on a film set before. giving people a platform to tell their stories with truth and integrity means so much to me and i feel that’s what we’ve achieved with this film.”He continued: “To everyone involved, from the impeccable script, to the delicate direction, forward thinking production and all the incredible cast – truly thank you for taking this project and turning into something really special.“The love and friendship and warmth i felt being around this beautiful team on set was a hugely powerful experience and i truly feel gives a little glimpse into the lives of young people.
