The film follows eight-year-old Youbin, raised by his father and grandparents in a remote mountain village in Hunan province, who discovers poetry as a means of making sense of his solitude and the world around him.

Annika Pham At the industry awards of Copenhagen’s documentary festival CPH:DOX last night, the U.S. project “Untitled Edward Said Documentary” by Maiken Baird, whose credits include Netflix’s “Venus and Serena” and “Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich,” won the new Al Jazeera Documentary Channel Co-Production Award, with a cash prize of €10,000 ($10,800). Annika Pham Heavy-hitter Marike Muselaers, VP international financing & co-production for the Scandi group Nordisk Film Production, has unveiled a solid slate of premium series, as its co-production “The Institute” is being pitched at Series Mania CoPro Pitching on Tuesday. From Denmark, the four-parter “Snake Killer” is the first Prime Video Danish Original series, co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios, which holds first window rights in the Nordics.

Beta Film has secured international distribution rights to the series which will be presented by Boe and Leth at Series Mania’s Co-Pro Pitching Sessions on March 25 in Lille’s Grand Palais Grand Théâtre, its biggest screening venue which is still habitually packed for the Sessions.

Mumford & Sons have added two extra dates to their upcoming UK arena tour after selling out all previous dates within two hours.Earlier this month, the band announced a 21-stop tour of the UK and Europe to support their new album ‘RUSHMERE’, which is set for release on March 28 via Island/Glassnote (pre-order/pre-save here).Those shows kick off at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm on November 6, with the UK dates starting with Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on December 2, followed by Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Cardiff and London.Now, two new dates have been added, with a date at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on November 29 and then Leeds’ First Direct Arena on November 30.
