Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have added two more extra dates to their autumn UK tour.The Bad Seeds duo will tour in September and October in support of their February album ‘Carnage’, which was recorded during the coronavirus lockdown.This morning (August 18) Cave and Ellis have announced the addition of two more shows to their forthcoming tour, with further gigs now set to take place at Cardiff’s St David’s Hall (September 26) and Portsmouth’s Kings Theatre (October 9).Tickets for these two shows will go on sale on Friday (August 20) at 10am from here.Marking their first ever tour together as a duo, Cave and Ellis’ upcoming live dates will see them being joined by musician Johnny Hostile and backing singers Wendi Rose, T Jae Cole and Janet

Nick Cave is set to share a global stream of one of his shows in Europe last year.Titled Wild God – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Live In Paris, the stream is set to show Cave’s full live show from his recently completed number of UK and European tour dates.The footage was captured at the music icon’s show at the Accor Arena in the French Capital last November, and marked the final date of the band’s extensive European tour. The dates ran across the latter half of 2024, and saw Cave celebrate the release of his latest album ‘Wild God’.It included a career-spanning set that included classics such as ‘The Weeping Song’ and ‘Red Right Hand’, as well as numerous tracks from the tracklist of the latest LP.“With Cave’s electrifying stage presence and a powerful band featuring Warren Ellis, George Vjestica, Colin Greenwood, Jim Sclavunos, Carly Paradis and Larry Mullins, plus a four-piece gospel-inspired vocal section (Wendi Rose, T Jae Cole, Miça Townsend and Janet Ramus), Nick Cave led a high-intensity, emotionally charged performance in front of 20,000 fans,” reads a description.It will be available to stream worldwide (barring North America) on April 7 via the ARTE Concert YouTube channel and ARTE.tv.

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have announced details of a new live album, created from their three performances at the Sydney Opera House last year.Titled ‘Australian Carnage’, the collection features audio taken from the pair’s performances in the Australian city, held as part of their 16-stop tour in the country at the end of 2022. The tour celebrated the release of the 2021 lockdown album, ‘Carnage’, which saw Cave and longtime Bad Seeds member Ellis come together for a new introspective side project.The live album will be released in two different formats: an 18-track digital version, which will be released this Friday (August 25), and an eight-track vinyl edition, which will arrive on December 1 via Goliath – pre-order here.To celebrate the announcement, Cave and Ellis have also shared the live version of ‘Balcony Man’, taken from the forthcoming album.

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have announced they will head out on their first ever UK tour as a duo this autumn.The Bad Seeds duo will play 20 shows across September and autumn in support of their acclaimed album ‘CARNAGE’, which arrived earlier this year.While not a full Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds record, the album is the latest from nearly 25 years of collaboration between the pair.
