Pet Shop Boys have shared a new remix of the Primal Scream track ‘Innocent Money’, featuring Neil Tennant on vocals.The release comes as part of the ongoing ‘Come Ahead’ remix project – which sees Primal Scream share re-imagined versions of each song from their latest album.The latest addition tackles the ‘Innocent Money’ track, and sees iconic band Pet Shop Boys put their own distinctive mark on the song, complete with Neil Tennant’s signature vocals. Check it out below to hear the Chicago-influenced acid house charm it puts on the original.“When we were discussing possible remixers for the ‘Come Ahead’ album with our producer David Holmes I had a gut feeling that asking the Pet Shop Boys to remix ‘Innocent Money’ might be a good idea,” said Bobby Gillespie.“I felt that the song’s marriage of a socially conscious lyric sung over an ecstatic, discofied string-laden stomping rhythm track might appeal to Neil and Chris’s sense of pop aesthetics.

Julien Baker & Torres debuted their new song ‘Bottom Of A Bottle’ on The Daily Show last night, ahead of the release of their first album together on April 18 – watch it below.It’s the fourth track the duo have shared from the album, ‘Send A Prayer My Way’, so far, following ‘Sugar In The Tank’, ‘Sylvia’, and ‘Tuesday’.The song is a slice of tender Americana that puts their voices – particularly the voice of Torres – at centre stage: “I went swimming in a river of Four Roses/Next thing I knew, I was horizontal, and my friends/Were fishing me out of the bottom,” they sing together in the chorus.Also on The Daily Show, they sat down with host Michael Kosta to discuss the album, their creative process, and their religious upbringings. “I think there’s this idea that you talk about a practice of a prayer, you’re talking about a dogmatic religious belief,” Baker said.

The 1975 are set to headline Glastonbury 2025, fans have been busy speculating over a “new era” for the band.The four-piece are set to headline the Pyramid Stage in June, sitting at the top of the bill alongside Olivia Rodrigo and Neil Young.After the band’s last global tour, which ended in March 2024, they went on an “indefinite hiatus” – Glastonbury is the first and so far only live show they’ve announced since then.As well as the Glastonbury announcement being made today (March 6) the band have changed their logo and updated their social media profiles with it, leading fans to suggest that they’re entering a “new era” this year. Finn Wolfhard has announced his debut solo album ‘Happy Birthday’ and has shared its nostalgic lead single ‘Choose The Latter’.Opening with bright and jangly guitars, a bumping bassline and steady drums, ‘Choose The Latter’ is reminiscent of early 2000’s indie pop, with Wolfhard’s distinct voice singing: “If can’t move then I can’t see / I choose the latter / Choose the latter,” in the song’s rousing chorus.The song’s DIY accompanying music video sees Wolfhard performing the single while on a green-screen roller coaster. You can view it below.The track is the first taster of the Stranger Things star’s forthcoming debut album ‘Happy Birthday’. Mumford & Sons have announced details of an intimate, live-streamed show taking place in Manchester. Check out the details below.The new show is set to take place in partnership with Amazon Music, as part of the latest run of City Sessions.Held at the Aviva Studios in Manchester, the indie folk band will be taking to the stage on Wednesday April 2 for a performance that will be streamed live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music UK channel on Twitch.It comes in celebration of the group’s forthcoming album ‘RUSHMERE’, which is set for release on March 28 via Island/Glassnote (pre-order/pre-save here).The LP follows 2018’s ‘Delta’, and has already been previewed with the title track and the single ‘Malibu’.
