Texas have been announced as the headliners for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 2024 celebrations.The iconic Scottish band, headlined by Sharleen Spiteri, will headline the Concert In The Gardens on Tuesday December 31 – making it both their last gig of 2024 and first gig of 2025.The set will see the band play beneath the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle amidst the New Year’s fireworks display, and break out some of their biggest hits including ‘Say What You Want’ and ‘Inner Smile’.Spiteri and co. announced the Hogmanay headline slot while onstage during their sold-out show at the Glasgow Hydro last night (September 15), and news was also shared about the support act joining them for the Edinburgh Festival.At the event, Texas will be joined by Edinburgh’s own Callum Beattie, who will be performing as a special guest, and comedian Susie McCabe will return to host the event – leading the country in a countdown to midnight.“We can’t wait to play here for a third time.
