People staying all-inclusive are limited to six free alcoholic drinks per day, while shops are banned from selling booze between 9.30pm and 8am.
Happy hours and pub crawls are also out, along with 2-4-1 drinks promotions. The biggest fines – up to £50k – will be slapped on those caught risking their lives jumping between hotel balconies, and on anyone advertising party boat outings.
But party planner Dan Ogser, who lives and works in Magaluf, Majorca, warned: “Trying to make Magaluf anything other than a party resort will mean the death of the area. "The rules are too extreme.
