holidays boost!Currently, only those who are fully vaccinated against Covid or have proof of recovery can enter the country for holidays - but all that could change 'within days'.That's because the country's Industry, Commerce and Tourism minster, Reyes Maroto., has said that the rules will be relaxed 'within days' for unvaccinated travellers from non-EU destinations.She told local radio station Onda Cero that unvaccinated travellers will once again be able to come for holidays, although they will still be required to show proof of a negative Covid test result.Currently, unvaccinated travellers can't head for holidays in Spain, although exceptions have been made for unvaccinated children aged 12-17 who have a negative PCR test or can show proof of Covid recovery.The news that Spain is due to relax its rules comes as a huge boost for the summer - after all, Spain has long been a hotspot for Brits with its brilliant beaches, amazing nightlife, and all-inclusive resorts.Speaking of all-inclusive resorts, if you're planning to head to Majorca or Ibiza, you may want to take note of a new drinks limit that the Balearics government has introduced.In a bid to crack down on boozy Brits, authorities now have a six drinks limit. That's six a day alongside lunch and dinner - meaning that you'll only be able to have three drinks per meal.

It comes as the Government of Balearic Islands tries to crackdown on boozed-up Brits from causing mayhem after accessing unlimited drinks at resorts.Many holidaymakers choose to book all-inclusive so they can day drink and continue their shenanigans into the night at party destinations.But now, Brits will be restricted to just six drinks a day, which can only be accessed alongside their lunch and dinner - offering them a mere three drinks per meal.The controversial rule has been enforced in Magaluf, Majorca, and some areas of Ibiza, causing upset to Brits who were expecting to drink by the pool.Thomas Cook alerted their customers during updates to their package holidays.The email read: "Please be advised that a decree has been issued by the Balearic Government on a new restriction for All Inclusive meal option."There is a maximum of six alcoholic drinks per person per day that can be served and these drinks will be provided only during lunch and dinner ( 3 each)."Please be aware that Magalluf, El Arenal, Playa de Palma in Mallorca and Sant Antoni in Ibiza, there is new restriction on All Inclusive."The Balearic government has also put a stop to pub crawls, the sale of alcohol in shops between 9.30pm and 8am, and advertising party boats in some areas.Balearic Islands Tourism minister Iago Negueruela previously said: “We want British tourists - we don't want this type of tourism.“British tourism is essential for our islands.

Covid travel restrictions.Anyone looking to go for a boozy trip to Ibiza and Majorca will be met with a new restriction – and it is not related to the pandemic.EasyJet has told all those travelling on one of their all inclusive breaks that they are being limited to just three drinks per person at lunch and dinner, the Liverpool Echo reports.The rule comes from a new Spanish law, banning happy hours and two-for-one drinks offers.A message delivered to all EasyJet travelers states: “Due to a change in Spanish law which affects certain resorts in the Balearic islands, alcoholic drinks are now limited to three per person at lunch and dinner as part of the all inclusive basis.”The law was brought in at the middle of 2020, in a bid to stop drunken behaviour traditionally associated with cheap holidays to those areas.And, the Balearic government has also banned pub crawls, the sale of alcohol in shops between 9.30pm and 8am, and advertising party boats in certain areas is also forbidden.Balearic Islands Tourism minister Iago Negueruela said: “We want British tourists - we don't want this type of tourism.“British tourism is essential for our islands.
