Woman banned from keeping animals after starved dog found in house living in its own filth

The RSPCA were called to Sharon Hartley's address on Thorn Bank, Bacup, near Bury, after her landlord had been to the property and said he had seen a dog shut in the kitchen which was very skinny.

He said he believed the pet had been abandoned as he had not been able to get in touch with the tenant, LancsLive reports. Animal rescuer, inspector Rebecca Goulding was sent to the scene and could see faeces and rubbish throughout the kitchen and
