The Premier League saw more big bids and crazy transfers over the summer as an extended window allowed for plenty of business to be done.
Chelsea were the top flight’s biggest spenders, splashing no less than £226.1million on fresh talent from across Europe. They are, rather unsurprisingly, followed by Manchester City in the second, who spent big on a few players.
Aston Villa and Leeds were also up there, as were Wolves who continue to identify the best Portuguese talent available. But who failed to get themselves a good deal in the transfer market?
