A Member’s Bill put forward to the Scottish Parliament to introduce safe access zones around abortion clinics for women in Scotland has taken a step closer.Lanarkshire-based Gillian Mackay’s Abortion Services Safe Access Zones Bill proposes the introduction of 150-metre perimeter safety zones at all sites that provide abortion care.The MSP’s bill reached a crucial milestone on Thursday with the publication of the final proposal alongside a consultation analysis.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
