The 47-year-old Hollywood star is the daughter of acting talent – with her mother being General Hospital actress Judy Loe, 87, and her father being iconic Porridge actor, Richard Beckinsale.
Richard sadly passed away following a heart attack aged just 31 in 1979 when Kate was a five-year-old girl and leaving wife Judy a widow.
On Tuesday, Kate shared a photo of herself on Instagram as she sat flashing a huge smile for the camera while highlighting work she was filming for Paramount.
She later followed up her snap with a photo of her father – who was captured on camera with an equally wide and infectious smile.
