Kacey Musgraves has released a cover of Bob Marley’s ‘Three Little Birds’, which is set to feature in the upcoming biopic about the reggae icon. Listen to the track below.The reverb-heavy acoustic version of the track is one of six covers of Marley songs that will accompany the film’s release, with the other artists including Leon Bridges, Daniel Caesar, Skip Marley and Wizkid.‘Three Little Birds’ was first released on Bob Marley & The Wailers’ 1977 album ‘Exodus’, later reaching the Top 20 in 1980 as a single.Listen to Musgraves’ version of the song below.The feature length biopic about the reggae icon, titled Bob Marley: One Love, is due to be released in UK cinemas on February 14, 2024, with British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir (Peaky Blinders, One Night in Miami) playing the musician.The film has been made in partnership with Marley’s family, and also stars James Norton, Lashana Lynch and Tosin Cole.

The 10 albums are: Dylan’s ‘The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan’; Carole King‘s ‘Tapestry’; The Clash’s ‘Combat Rock’ (40th anniversary edition); Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)’; Foo Fighters’ ‘Medicine At Midnight‘; Janis Joplin‘s ‘Pearl’ (50th anniversary edition); Jimi Hendrix‘s ‘Live At Monterey’; Leon Bridges‘ ‘Coming Home’; Little Mix‘s ‘Confetti’; and Prince’s ‘The Rainbow Children’ (20th anniversary edition).Fans can enter a prize draw for each artist on the ‘Blue Vinyl’ Crowdfunder website here to be in with a chance of winning one of the available albums.The campaign will highlight “UNICEF’s ability to respond to an emergency affecting children wherever they are, whenever crisis hits, within 48 hours”, according to a press release.Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix said: “What an honour for ‘Confetti’ to be part of the incredible ‘Blue Vinyl’ album list alongside some iconic artists! Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic The guest list for Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday all-star concerts at the Hollywood Bowl has been significantly expanded. Sixteen additional names were announced Wednesday for the already packed two-night lineup, representing a roughly 50% expansion of a bill that was advertised with 30 stars when it first went on sale — and immediately sold out — in January. Newly added stars from the worlds of rock, country and other genres include Dave Matthews, Emmylou Harris, Jack Johnson and fellow Texans George Strait and Gary Clark Jr. Nelson’s sole surviving fellow Highwayman, Kris Kristofferson, has also been appointed to the lineup. The son of one of those Highwaymen, Shooter Jennings, is joining the bill as well. Others freshly named to appear this Saturday or Sunday include Dwight Yoakam, Stephen Stills, Rodney Crowell, Booker T. Jones, Buddy Cannon, Daniel Lanois, Jamey Johnson, Waylon Payne and Lily Meola.
