Marianne Faithfull are set to be released at the request of her family.A stalwart of the Swinging London arts and music scene in the 1960s, Faithfull became one of the leading female artists during the British Invasion era. She died in January, aged 78.Tributes poured out for the ‘Broken English’ singer, with Blur‘s Graham Coxon, The Charlatans‘ Tim Burgess, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Ed Harcourt, Warren Ellis, Ronnie Wood, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sir Paul McCartney, Morrissey, Metallica and more all penning personal tributes.‘Burning Moonlight’, a four-track EP made up of songs recorded in the year before her death, was originally slated for a February announcement as part of the Record Store Day 2025 list, but the news was postponed following her death.Now, with the blessing of the late singer’s family, DECCA Records have shared news of ‘Burning Moonlight’ as a celebration of Faithfull’s life and sound.
