Taskmaster has revealed its celebrity line-up for series 14.The BAFTA and National Comedy Award winning game show will soon return to Channel 4, although an air date is yet to be officially confirmed.Joining the line-up for the latest series are stand-up comedian and television presenter Dara Ó Briain (Mock The Week), stand-up comedian Fern Brady (Live At The Apollo), stand-up, writer and actor John Kearns, comedian, broadcaster and digital creator Munya Chawawa, and award-winning stand-up comedian Sarah Millican.Greg Davies will return to his throne as the titular host of the show, as will his assistant Alex Horne, to help judge and adjudicate the celebrities as they carry out a number of bizarre and challenging tasks.Horne, who co-created the series, also serves as executive producer, alongside Richard Allen-Turner, Rob Aslett, James Taylor, Jon Thoday and Andy Devonshire.News of the new line-up comes after the Channel 4 show enjoyed the one-off special Taskmaster Champion Of Champions tonight (June 23), in which the winners from series six to ten reunited to determine an overall victor.The former champions included Richard Herring, Liza Tarbuck, Kerry Godliman, Lou Sanders and Ed Gamble.

Now, in a new interview with Deadline, Reiner has given an update on the progress and shared when fans can expect to see the film.“It’s going good,” he began.

Ricky Gervais is set to helm a new animated series about “a bunch of cats”, according to a new social media post.Gervais posted an image on social media of the cast recording lines from the new show, which sees him reunite with the cast of his hit television show, After Life.In the picture, the cast can be seen in a studio recording their lines at microphones. Metallica‘s Lars Ulrich and Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ Chad Smith are reportedly set to appear in the upcoming This Is Spinal Tap sequel.According to a report from Deadline Hollywood, the two veteran drummers will cameo in the upcoming film, though details surrounding their roles are currently unknown. It is expected that Ulrich and Smith will both be playing short-lived drummers for the fictitious Spinal Tap band.Deadline also announced that more actors have newly been attached to the film.
