Ricky Gervais is set to helm a new animated series about “a bunch of cats”, according to a new social media post.Gervais posted an image on social media of the cast recording lines from the new show, which sees him reunite with the cast of his hit television show, After Life.In the picture, the cast can be seen in a studio recording their lines at microphones.

It won’t be finished until next year,” he said in the answer. He added: “I don’t think there’s anything like it. I did animation ‘cos I thought, ‘I’m getting old now’ and filming is a hard slog.
