Multi-Emmy-winning producing duo Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner will return as executive producing showrunners for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, Dick Clark Productions announced today.
Submissions open today for the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, which will air Sunday, January 5, 2025, on CBS, with streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).
This will mark the first year of a newfive-year broadcast deal with CBS for the awards show. CBS’ broadcast of the 81ST Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 7, 2024, averaged 10 million viewers in Nielsen Live+7, up nearly 50% from 2023, its largest audience since 2020.
