Helen Mirren will soon reunite with former co-star Pierce Brosnan in Guy Ritchie’s MobLand, and though she’s a “huge fan of Pierce Brosnan, I mean massive fan,” she deemed the James Bond franchise in which he appears decidedly “not [her] thing” due to its portrayal of women.

Aramide Tinubu Paramount+‘s “MobLand,” from Ronan Bennett — who is “The Day of the Jackal” creator, as well as the “Top Boy” showrunner — is a different kind of U.K.-based crime drama. The dark and gritty series, with a starry cast, offers viewers a deep dive into the lives of two warring crime families, the Harrigans and the Stevensons. However, Bennett and director Guy Ritchie, who helms the first two episodes of the 10-part season, which were all that were furnished to critics for review, choose a unique vantage point for the narrative.

Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan introduce viewers to the violent criminal underworld of MobLand, the new Paramount+ series from producer/director Guy Ritchie.The show, initially a prequel to series Ray Donovan but reworked into its own story, is a crime drama created by Ronan Bennett (Top Boy), with Ritchie producing and directing some of the episodes. The synopsis for the show describes Brosnan as “the head of an organised crime family, fighting for power within a global crime syndicate”.In the trailer, Brosnan plays Conrad Harrigan, the patriarch of the Harrigan clan.

Ethan Shanfeld Guy Ritchie‘s organized crime series starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren has finally been given title — “MobLand” — and a March 30 premiere date on Paramount+. In the series, Brosnan plays Conrad, the head of an organized crime family who is fighting for power within a global crime syndicate. As Variety previously reported, the show will center on “two warring families based in London whose enterprises stretch all corners of the globe.” Hardy plays Harry, a “fiercely loyal” fixer who is charged with protecting one of the families at all costs.

Tom Hardy’s Netflix action-thriller Havoc has been unveiled, ahead of the film’s release on April 25.The film is directed by Gareth Evans, with Hardy being joined by co-stars Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker. The 59-second clip features Hardy in a number of exciting action scenes, with car chases and gunfire, while also facing off with Oscar-winner Whitaker.
