She will report to Susan Rovner, the entertainment content chairman for NBCU TV & Streaming.“Corie is one of the most respected executives in the business and brings a resume overflowing with big unscripted hits that have broken out across broadcast, streaming and cable platforms,” Rovner said.

Love Island narrator Iain Stirling has landed a huge new job voicing the stateside version of the show.

Love Island's Iain Stirling is set to head to America narrate the US version of the hit ITV2 show.The Scottish comedian, 34, will be narrating the revamped American version of the show, which is set to be much steamier than previous seasons.The show is will air on the Peacock streaming service in the US, with the premiere taking place on Tuesday, 19 July, however he'll still continue to provide voiceovers for the UK version.There have been three previous seasons, first starting in 2019. Speaking in a statement, Jenny Groom, Executive Vice President for NBCUniversal's Entertainment Unscripted Content, said: “The moment the decision was made to bring an all-new version of Love Island to Peacock, we knew we had to get Iain on board.

Now, Iain is set to voice the revamped American spin-off version of the hit dating show, which airs on Peacock.Iain will step in to replace the previous host Matthew Hoffman, who narrated the US version for three seasons when it aired on CBS.The series launches on NBC’s streaming service Peacock next month, after three series on the rival network.In a video announcing his involvement, Iain said the show would be “streaming all summer long - or until America decides it can’t understand a word I’m saying”.

NBC has been unveiled as the network behind the U.S. version of John de Mol’s Million Dollar Island (working title), the high-stakes social experiment that will be produced by Stephen Lambert’s Circle and Gogglebox producer Studio Lambert.

NBC has partnered with Studio Lambert to bring “Million Dollar Island” to the U.S. In “Million Dollar Island,” based on Talpa’s international adventure reality format, 100 contestants compete and build alliances to stay on a remote desert island for up to 50 days — in hopes of winning their share of a $1 million prize. Each contestant is given a bracelet worth $10,000, which they gain and lose during the show’s challenges.

Jane Lynch will return to host the series, which sees contestants answer general knowledge questions to bank prize money across multiple rounds.

Heather Olander, who built USA Network’s non-scripted division with series such as Chrisley Knows Best, is leaving NBCUniversal after ten years.
