John Higgins dropped almost four stone after taking up spinning sessions and cutting out booze. Higgins is currently competing in the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible, where he is trailing Thepchaiya Un-Nooh 5-4 in the first round after the first session.
And the 46-year-old showed off his slimmer figure, having decided to get into shape during lockdown. "It's not helping me pot balls but it is helping me lose weight," he said last year of his weight loss. "I just seem to be a little bit addicted to them (spinning classes).
I go three or four times a week. "I enjoy getting up in the morning and doing an hour of training. It will be tough because when I am starting to travel to tournaments again I will need to find some spin classes there or go on the bikes in the hotels."A lot of the boys do running and that is easier.
I'll need to have a scout about different cities to see if there are any spin classes there."Higgins went on to say that that his wife and three children were a big motivating factor behind his lifestyle change.
