Prince Harry is 'snubbing' the Queen by missing Prince Philip's memorial service in a "d*** move", a royal expert claims.A spokesman for the Duke of Sussex has confirmed he will not be attending Westminster Abbey on March 29 as the Royal Family remembers the monarch's late husband, one year after his death.Though the reason for his absence remains unofficially explained, it has been widely reported that security concerns are a major part of his decision to stay put in California.Columnist Daniela Elser has blasted Harry for not rushing to support the Queen later this month despite planning to fly to the Netherlands in April for the Invictus Games.

Writing for News.com.au she begged the question: "Yet, he can’t make it back to London for such an important family event?"What a d*** move," she added.

Ms Elser also pointed out that Harry recently made time to visit a rodeo in Texas and has jetted off to New York on the other side of the US with wife Meghan Markle twice over the last six months.

Given everything that the Queen has endured since losing her husband from health issues including Covid-19 to son Prince Andrew's scandal, Ms Elser thinks Harry should be doing more for his grandmother. The expert said: "Even the most charitable reading here would see this as a snub of the Queen at what has to be one of the lowest points of her reign."While it’s impossible to imagine that the sovereign would resort to such a base move as resorting to expletives, I have no such compunction.
