Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry has been slammed by a royal photographer for using a "lame excuse" to miss Prince Philip’s memorial service, claiming he has "burnt his boats" with the Firm.

Arthur Edwards, who has been snapping the Royal Family since 1977, has claimed Harry "lost out" because he stayed away "in his big house"."Royals young and old came from far and wide to Westminster Abbey yesterday to pay tribute to Prince Philip – except one," he wrote in a column for The Scottish Sun.

He added: “Prince Harry ’s excuse for avoiding the memorial service for his own grandfather because of “security fears” is, quite frankly, lame. “Harry couldn’t be ­bothered to take a few days off from Netflix, or feeding his chickens in the US, to honour the grandfather who always supported him."The photographer went on to say that Philip had "was always there" for Harry.“Whether walking with the 12-year-old Prince behind his mother’s coffin, or giving support while Harry was on active service in Afghanistan, Philip was always there for him," he said.“Sadly, he chose to stay away in his big house.
