Prince Harry's decision to dodge the memorial service for Prince Philip shows that he now only cares about Meghan Markle, according to one royal expert. The Duke of Sussex made the controversial decision to stay in California and not fly back to the United Kingdom for yesterday's (March 29) Commonwealth Thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey for his grandad.Harry has not said why he decided against going to the memorial on Tuesday but there is speculation it is due to the row about security that was never resolved.

He will, however, be jetting off to Netherlands in just two week's time to attend the Invictus Games.Royal biographer Angela Levin is one of many to have blasted the 37-year-old Prince in the aftermath of his conspicuous absence from the service, which was attended by all other senior members of the Royal Family, including the Queen.Speaking to The Sun, the author commented: “He is such a changed person, it is difficult to know if he will even regret not attending.

The Harry I interviewed was caring and kind and instinctive. Nowadays, he is so full of resentment and ‘me me me’.“He doesn’t seem to have any broader range to care about things unless they are things impacting him and Meghan."Visitors from abroad coming to pay their respects included monarchs from Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and royals from Monaco, Bahrain, Greece, Romania and Serbia. And Ms Levin said this fact emphasised how his apparent security concerns were a "pathetic excuse", as the police "would have had it completely covered" because of the presence of foreign dignitaries.
