Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s choice to not bring their children with them on their trip to the UK would have been a source of “great heartache” for the Queen, an expert has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex briefly visited Windsor on Thursday 14 April to catch-up with Her Majesty and Prince Charles before heading to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
While 37 year old Harry’s catch-up with Charles was reported to be “edgy”, his and 40 year old Meghan’s meeting with the Queen was allegedly a lot more pleasant.
However, a royal expert has claimed that the couple’s decision to visit the UK without their children Archie, two, and Lilibet, 10 months, will have been hard for the Queen - who has never met Lilibet.
