Martin Lewis issues warning about amount your energy bill will rise by in weeks

Money Saving Expert founder Martin Lewis is warning of another energy bill increase that could add extra strain on families’ budgets during the cost of living crisis. Martin shared his warning on Good Morning Britain saying: “Based on the current prediction, which is likely to be right with a very small margin of error, is this - for every £100 direct debit you currently pay, you will be paying £181 and in January £215.” Martin's warning follows prognosis from Cornwall Insight - who provides independent analysis to businesses in the energy market - that bills will rise to approximately £3,582 in October. Another rise is expected in the New Year to £4,266.

Ben Shephard was left in stitches after he watched a clip of Belfast fans celebrate St Patrick's Day by watching Tipping Point in the pub.During Thursday's instalment of Good Morning Britain, entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold shared the hilarious clip of the enthusiastic fans from TikTok on the show.In the video, drinkers could be seen on the edges of their seats as they watched the nail-biting moment the counter tipped over the ledge which saw the room erupt into celebration.The 47-year-old passed on his well wishes to his fans over in Ireland as he explained how the group were also big fans of the ITV gameshow The Chase while he shared his thoughts on the viral clip.As the show aired the clip of the drunken fans on the show, the dad-of-two shared the moment when he first saw the video online.He said: "I got sent that yesterday from Danny's TikTok account and I'm not on TikTok and someone said, 'Ben have you watched this?' "I think it's a pub called the Hatfield in Belfast and all the students get together, I think they watch Tipping Point and then they watch The Chase and they have a big event." He added: "But then what better way to celebrate a jackpot than with a pint? I think we need to go there for a pint!" It comes after Tipping Point viewers watched the jaw-dropping moment one lucky contestant landed £1,000 in one drop.Last week on the arcade-style game show, budding quizzer Lisa was seen doing fairly well for herself as she smashed her way to the finals with ease.
