Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid was all about lifting her co-star Kate Garraway up after Kate's heartfelt confession last week.
On the Monday show (September 9), Susanna, alongside Ed Balls, dived into the day's top news and entertainment stories from the UK and around the world.
Later, they chatted with actor Richard Armitage about his National Television Award nomination. Wrapping up the chat, Ed and Susanna gave a shout-out to Kate, who's also in the running for an award.
Kate has been open with viewers about her family's challenges since her husband Derek fell ill with COVID-19 in 2020. Encouraging viewers to support Kate, Ed announced: "You can also vote for our Kate Garraway's Derek story which is also up for an award this week, so that would be good." Susanna chimed in with praise: "It's a wonderful documentary," reports the Mirror.
