Radio DJ Dean McCullough has revealed the secret I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! crew members who are always on standby to prevent campmates from getting into sticky situations.

During his appearance on the show's spin-off, Unpacked, he responded to a viewer's question about whether there are rangers in the camp to deal with unwanted creatures.

Dean revealed: "They are worth their weight in gold." He went on to share a story about how one of these staff members saved him from walking into a still-hot campfire in the dark, saying: "This random arm - big, beefy, Australian arm - just appeared from the darkness and he pulled me and just walked me up to the dunny." The next day, Dean realised it was one of the crew members who had come to his rescue.
