Journalist and TV star Aasmah Mir has opened up about her experience with Gregg Wallace on Celebrity Masterchef, explaining why she didn't speak out sooner about his alleged "inappropriate behaviour".The former BBC contestant, who appeared on the popular cooking show in 2017, claimed that the presenter made derogatory comments on set.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley today, Aasmah revealed that during filming, the show had "paused to reset" when Gregg asked her if she worked at Radio 4.
She said: "In front of everybody, the judges, the crew, the other contestants were quite far behind me... And Gregg Wallace said to me 'oh do you work at Radio 4?' "I thought 'Oh how nice, he's doing that presenter thing.
He's relaxing you.'" But then he allegedly said: "Tell her from me, she's a sexy b**ch." Richard reacted with shock, putting his head in his hands, exclaiming: "Oh gosh" as Aasmah continued: "There was a silence.
