Sting has announced a run of outdoor UK and Ireland headline shows for 2024 – find all the details below.The soloist and former Police frontman is due to play five special concerts on these shores next June in continuation of his ‘My Songs’ world tour.He’ll take to the stage at Cheshire’s Delamere Forest (June 14), Cork’s Musgrave Park (18), Belfast’s Ormeau Park (19), Suffolk’s Thetford Forest (22) and Nottinghamshire’s Sherwood Pines (23).The upcoming gigs will see the singer-songwriter perform classic hits from across his lengthy career both as a member of The Police and as a solo artist.Per a press release, Sting is set to be joined on stage by “an electrifying rock ensemble”. Steven Wilson has announced that he’ll be supported by four of his “absolute favourite British stand-up comedians” on his upcoming four-night stint at the London Palladium.Wilson headlines the London Palladium this spring across four nights – from May 12 – 20 – and has now revealed he’ll be supported by Clinton Baptiste, Al Murray (as the Pub Landlord), Stewart Lee and Frank Skinner.Touching on the unusual openers, the ‘Objects Outlive Us’ musician said the choice was inspired by his love of comedy and a desire to create a “unique aspect to each night” of ‘The Overview’ tour, in support of his recent album.His new space-themed record dropped earlier this month, and he is now set to embark on a full European, UK and North American tour. Rachel Zegler is headed across the pond to make her West End debut in a revival of “Evita,”according to a report published on Variety Friday.“Evita” will be directed by “Sunset Boulevard” creator Jamie Lloyd and opening night is slated for June 14 at the London Palladium.The show follows the life of Argentine political leader Eva Perón (Zegler) who is also the second wife of the Argentine president.Zegler, 23, will follow in the footsteps of stage stars Elaine Paige and Patti LuPone. Paige, 77, originated the role on the West End in 1978 with the iconic hit “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina.”LuPone, 75, meanwhile, was the first to star as Eva on Broadway in 1979.In 1996, Madonna starred in the film adaptation opposite Antonio Banderas.However, this won’t be the first time Zegler takes on an iconic role, as she rose to stardom in 2021 after starring in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story.”The actress then headed to Broadway where she made her debut as Juliet in “Romeo + Juliet” – a modern twist on the Shakespearian classic.

 EXCLUSIVE: Rachel Zegler, star of Steven Spielberg’s screen version of West Side Story and the soon-to-be-released Disney live-action Snow White, will make her London theater debut as Eva Perón in a revival of the garlanded Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Evita, director Jamie Lloyd confirmed to Deadline today.

Jeff Goldblum has announced a major London Palladium show for next month with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.The actor and musician is preparing to release his fourth studio album ‘Still Blooming’ on April 25 via Decca – you can pre-order/pre-save your copy here. Now, he has confirmed the prestigious one-off show to take place in the same week.Goldblum and the orchestra will play the venue on April 24, with tickets for the show set to go on sale at 10am UK time on Friday (March 7).

Bono‘s ‘Stories of Surrender’ one-man stage show is set to be turned into an immersive documentary of the same name.Directed by Andrew Dominik, Bono: Stories of Surrender will serve as a vivid reimagining of Bono’s critically-acclaimed one-man stage show, Stories of Surrender: An Evening of Words, Music and Some Mischief… and include unseen footage of the U2 frontman’s April 2023 residency at NYC’s Beacon Theatre in support of his book Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, A Memoir Told Through 40 U2 Songs.The documentary is set for release on May 30 on Apple TV+. A press release adds that the film “pulls back the curtain on a remarkable life and the family, friends, and faith that have challenged and sustained him, revealing personal stories about his journey as a son, father, husband, activist and rockstar.”A post shared by Apple Films (@applefilms)It is also set to premiere on Apple Vision Pro the same day as the film’s release, marking the first feature-length film available in Apple Immersive Video.
