Jon Richardson gives rare update on love life after ex Lucy Beaumont spotted with new man

Jon Richardson gave a rare insight into his love life this weekend with a comment confirming his relationship status, following his split from wife Lucy Beaumont in April.The couple were married for nine years and share eight year old daughter Elsie, leaving fans shocked with the separation.

Preforming at the London Palladium on Sunday (17 November) for a special Absolute Radio charity comedy show, Jon joined fellow comedians such as Judi Love and Josh Widdicombe.

With Loose Women star Judi detailing the challenges of dating when over 40 in her routine, Jon then came on stage and said: "It makes me think I'm so happy being single," according to The Sun.

Once again referencing his split later in the show, Jon looked on the bright side as he praised being able to use the toilet in a hotel room without having to simultaneously run the tap, due to having the room to himself as a single man.
