Mick did a photoshoot for the brand the photos taken at his home in Maui that were shared March 7 were absolutely epic. The music icon dressed in an all-purple ensemble to promote the new “Shroom Bloom” line, which includes nail polishes, T-shirts, and Acid Drop Overnight Serum. Harry, 28, called Mick “a magical man” in an interview with Vogue about the Shroom Bloom line.

Metallica‘s Kirk Hammett is set to release a new coffee table book exploring his guitar collection and life in music.The 400-page book, The Collection: Kirk Hammett, will delve into the guitarist’s life, charting the years through his extensive guitar collection, which includes his 1979 Flying V and “Greeny” – the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard previously owned by Fleetwood Mac’s Peter Green and Thin Lizzy’s Gary Moore.It comes with interviews conducted by Chris Vinnicombe and Mark Agnesi, as well as photography shot on location in Hawaii and Los Angeles by rock photographer Ross Halfin, as well as some rarer images from his archives.“I’ve worked diligently on this curated collection of vintage and modern guitars for the book,” Hammett said of the book in a statement. “I feel the book captures the rich history and artistry behind each of these unique and rare instruments.

Noel Gallagher once bought one of Peter Green’s Les Paul guitars, and intentionally removed the signature from it to get back at a rude employee.The late rock icon and Fleetwood Mac founder was the owner of countless high-profile guitars, including the famous ‘Greeny’ – which was later passed to Gary Moore, who handed it on to Metallica’s Kirk Hammett.However, that particular model was just one of a number of guitars that were sold after his death, and now The Coral guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones has revealed the story behind one that was modified by Oasis legend Noel Gallagher.Speaking with Guitar World, he recalled how he was given the Les Paul by Gallagher in 2006 when The Coral were recording an album in his studio, but was initially unaware of the rich history behind the model.Recalling how the Britpop icon got his hands on the guitar, Ryder-Jones recalled how Gallagher erased the Peter Green signature from the body out of spite of a rude shop owner.“He didn’t know who Noel was; he somehow had not heard of Oasis,” he explained. “But Noel saw one of the guitars at the top of the shelf, like behind the counter, and said, ‘Can I have a go with that Les Paul?’“And the guy behind the counter goes, ‘Erm, you do know that was Peter Green’s, and it’s signed by Peter Green, right?’ He reluctantly got it down and gave it to Noel.”From there, Gallagher, who was apparently irked by the shop owner’s attitude, decided to get back at him and “spat on his T-shirt and rubbed off the signature.”“He purposefully rubbed off Peter Green’s signature to make a point to the guy in the guitar shop,” Ryder-Jones continued.

The band was formed in London in 1967, and Christine began her work with them within three years, after John replaced bass guitarist Peter Green.Although she split with John several years later, they remained amicable and the alleged turmoil between the two is said to have harnessed their creative spirit professionally.This led to the release of 1977 album Rumours, featuring tracks such as Songbird, which was written by Christine exclusively.Rumours, the group's 11th studio album, was widely declared to be their best of all time, hitting the jaw-dropping status of 20x Platinum in the USA.Christine remained in the group for a mammoth 28 years, finally leaving in 1998, soon after the members were officially inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.She cited a fear of flying and a tendency towards panic attacks as the reason for her departure.Bandmate Stevie Nicks once joked to the Guardian that the pair were like "travelling rock’n’roll nuns".Christine jokily added: "The rock’n’roll lifestyle did have its perks but it wasn’t all limos and parties in the early days.”However, she made a triumphant return back in 2014, and will be sorely missed by her fellow bandmembers.
