Alanis Morissette is set to play a set at a fundraiser for presidential hopeful Kamala Harris ahead of the US elections this autumn.As per Deadline, Morissette will perform at the event in LA today (September 29), as well Halle Bailey.Campaign co-chair Jeffrey Katzenberg confirmed to Deadline that both Morissette and Bailey will be featured entertainers during the afternoon for the event.The event is the first campaign fundraiser since Harris became the official Democratic Party nominee.The proceeds from the event will go to the Harris Victory Fund, which, as per Deadline, raises money for the Harris campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties. Tickets for the event cost $500 (£373).Meanwhile, a host of other stars most notably Taylor Swift and Charli XCX have endorsed Harris as their presidential candidate.
