A mum's life lesson to her son complaining he gets told off more than his younger brother backfired with his hilarious reply letter.

Katie Goodall’s told her eldest son Alfie, 11, that his Charlie doesn’t get into trouble as much because he's too young to know right and wrong.

To support her point, she told Alfie it was like him not knowing how to write a letter in a foreign language. But switched-on Alfie decided he wasn't about to let the issue drop - and decided to copy Chinese words off the internet to write a reply letter to his mum.

Katie, from Stirling, said she was shocked when Alfie handed her the Chinese letter and shared it on Facebook, where it’s received over 9,000 likes and thousands of comments.
