UberEats driver after finishing a grueling 12-hour shift in A&E. The woman, says in the TikTok video that she is a nurse and had a hankering for a McDonald's breakfast after a busy night.
She then shows screenshots of messages she says the male driver sent her on the UberEats app and it's clear to see why they would make her feel uncomfortable.One reads: "You’re single married you have a boyfriend?"Another states: "I give my number for you thinking maybe one day".She adds: "He kept calling me from different mobile numbers, and he was lingering outside my flat.
And I live on my own."Feeling concerned, the woman says she told him she had a boyfriend and ended the chat on UberEats, only for the man to start ringing her."Not only does this man have my mobile number now, he has my address," she says.The video has been watched more than 200,000 times since it was uploaded on Sunday (February 20) and many people urged her to put her safety first.One viewer told her: "That's breaching GDPR guidelines.
He should not be retaining your contact info. I hope you're okay and that he got reported. It's not on."A second woman commented: "I have a male name on my app, might help make the boyfriend idea more real.
