Forbes has released its annual 30 Under 30 list for 2024 in Asia, which features the likes of Voice Of Baceprot, IVE and more.Released today (May 16), the annual Forbes 30 Under 30 list shines a light on individuals aged below 30 who have made a significant impact in their respective fields, including entertainment and sports, science and activism, entrepreneurship and more.This year’s entertainment and sports portion of the list is headlined by Indonesian metallers and stars of NME’s The Cover, Voice Of Baceprot. The Streets and Maisie Peters lead new names for Boardmasters 2024

The Streets, Maisie Peters and Ghetts are among artists that have been announced in the next wave of acts for Boardmasters 2024.Professor Green, Cat Burns, Future Utopia and Sammy Virji are also set to perform at the Cornwall surf and music festival from 7-11 August, joining the previously announced Stormzy, Sam Fender, Chase & Status, Becky Hill and more.The latest wave of acts completes the 2024 line-up, where hundreds of acts will perform across 11 stages at two sites on the Cornish Coast – Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach.The DJ line-up for this year is completed by Ewan McVicar, Eliza Rose, Hedex and Eskman, Andy C, Hannah Laing and more.Other artists set to perform at the 2024 edition include Bicep, Nia Archives, Tom Odell, Soft Play, English Teacher and Katy B.Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Boardmasters gets permission to increase capacity by thousands

Boardmasters has been granted official permission to expand its capacity for its 2024 edition.According to the BBC, their application to the Cornwall Council was approved this week, allowing them to grow from an approximate capacity of 53,000 up to 58,000 this year.Back in November, the first wave of artists for this year’s edition of the festival were announced, with Stormzy, Chase & Status, Sam Fender and Becky Hill leading the line-up.It will be held between August 7-11, and take place on the usual sites on the Cornish Coast – Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach, near Newquay.

Nia Archives has announced her debut album ‘Silence Is Loud’ – you can listen to the title track below.The Bradford-born producer, DJ and songwriter is due to release the 13-song record on April 12 via HIJINXX/Island (pre-order/pre-save here). It’ll contain the previous singles ‘So Tell Me’, ‘Crowded Roomz’ and ‘Forbidden Feelingz’.Per a press release, the forthcoming collection will see Nia explore “loneliness and the intense potential power of silence (something louder than noise could ever be)” as well as “relationships, family, navigating her 20s and more”.The artist worked on ‘Silence Is Loud’ with the songwriter and producer Ethan P.

The Last Dinner Party, Tyla and Peggy Gou being tipped for success next year.The other acts rounding out this year’s list are Aya Starr, Caity Baser, CMAT, Elmeine, Kenya Grace, Olivia Dean and Sekou.This year’s longlist is largely dominated by female solo acts, with strong showings for British soul and R&B and artists from Africa. It was voted for by a panel of 140 music industry experts, including representatives from Spotify, Apple Music, Glastonbury Festival, the BBC and former nominees including Jorja Smith, PinkPantheress and Tom Grennan.The winner will be revealed in the new year on BBC Radio 1, with the top five revealed in reverse order between January 1-5.
