Fever Ray has announced details of a UK and European tour to take place in early 2024 – see full details below.Kicking off in February, the upcoming run of dates includes headline shows in Bristol and Manchester, before a headline show at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on March 2.Alongside the news, Fever Ray has also shared a brand new Avalon Emerson remix of ‘Carbon Dioxide’, one of the tracks originally released on their third studio album ‘Radical Romantics’ earlier this year.Fever Ray, aka Karin Dreijer, said about the new remix, “I’m very happy for this one! Jessie Ware, Confidence Man and Romy are among the acts lined up for the autumn edition of Homobloc in Manchester.The queer block party is set to return to Depot Mayfield on November 4 and, per a press release, is set to welcome “artists, performers, spectators and clubbers to come together and present one of the greatest dancefloor coalitions of the LGBTQ+ community”.Alongside Ware and Confidence Man, Peaches is also set to headline, with further headline DJ sets coming from The Blessed Madonna, David Morales, Avalon Emerson, Horse Meat Disco, LSDXOXO, salute, Sherelle and I. Chicago rapper G Herbo will plead guilty to wire fraud conspiracy and identity theft when the federal case reaches court later this month, the Chicago Tribune reports. Herbo, real name Herbert Randall Wright, was first arrested on the federal charges in 2020.

Bilbao BBK has announced more acts for its 2023 line-up.The festival has confirmed Pavement will be headlining the Spanish festival’s second day, while Roisin Murphy, Arca, Ry X, Young Fathers and Perfume Genius and many more have also joined the line-up.They join previously announced acts Phoenix, IDLES, Jamie xx, Fever Ray, Röyksopp, Avalon Emerson, Anz, HAAi, SHERELLE, M83 and DUKI. Avalon Emerson has announced the release of her debut album for her new musical project, as well as sharing new single ‘Hot Evening’.The self-titled record ‘Avalon Emerson & The Charm’ will be released on April 28 via her Another Dove label. Upon announcement, the US producer and songwriter has also shared the latest single, the shimmering ‘Hot Evening’.“The sonic inspiration comes from somewhere between Todd Edwards, the Magnetic Fields, and the Chordettes,” she said of the track.
