Arca and Hood By Air's Shayne Oliver have announced details of new project WENCH with an album worth of material set to be broadcast live on NTS this Friday, August 12. Greatest Hits ’88 to ’16 will be played out live on the internet radio station from 13:00 - 15:00 ET while a launch party will be held on August 11 at New York's Paragon.

Jamie xx has confirmed that he will be curating his own day at the new LIDO Festival in London. Find details on the line-up below.The xx star, musician and producer will be the inaugural headliner for the new festival in the UK capital for its upcoming first instalment.Taking place across June next year, the new event will run across two weekends, and feature “carefully curated music line-ups alongside community-driven activities during the week, all with a strong emphasis on sustainability.”Held at Victoria Park’s historic Lido Field, Jamie xx will be curating a line-up for Saturday June 7.Announced today, he has already dropped the first names for his line-up, including an appearance by his xx bandmate Romy, as well as Panda Bear, John Glacier, Arca, Sampha, DJ Gigola, Shy One, Wookie, and livwutang.To top it off, he’ll be bringing his celebrated club residency ‘The Floor’ to Victoria Park too, holding a one-off festival showcase that includes a three-hour set from DJ Harvey.Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday (November 1) and you can visit here to buy tickets.

Bilbao BBK has announced more acts for its 2023 line-up.The festival has confirmed Pavement will be headlining the Spanish festival’s second day, while Roisin Murphy, Arca, Ry X, Young Fathers and Perfume Genius and many more have also joined the line-up.They join previously announced acts Phoenix, IDLES, Jamie xx, Fever Ray, Röyksopp, Avalon Emerson, Anz, HAAi, SHERELLE, M83 and DUKI. Also set to play this year are Arctic Monkeys, Florence + the Machine, The Chemical Brothers, 070 Shake, Dry Cleaning and The Murder Capital.The 2023 edition of Bilbao BBK will take place from July 6-8 in the Basque region of Spain.

Arca has unveiled a new box set of her expansive ‘Kick’ series.The release includes all of Arca’s latest albums, ‘KiCk i’, ‘KICK ii’, ‘KicK iii’, ‘kick iiii’, and ‘kiCK iiiii’, collected in a five LP vinyl box set released on May 20 via XL.A limited number of box sets will include alternative artwork for ‘KiCk I’ that hasn’t been released before.In addition to this announcement, Arca also shared a new song and video for ‘Cayó’, which you can listen to below.In a statement, Arca said the song is about “exploring self states, non-binary modes of relating of that which is ‘other,’ creating new intersectional ways of mediating identity through exploring sensuality, and heightened communion with the sensual embodiment of self.”Last December, it was revealed that Rosalía and Arca would host a new radio show for Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto Online.Video game developer and publisher Rockstar Games shared the news via a statement on their website on December 13, confirming that the duo’s MOTOMAMI Los Santos radio station – which shares a name with Rosalía’s upcoming ‘Motomami’ album – would arrive in the game from December 15.The radio station played a wide array of genres, ranging from “artists such as Caroline Polachek to Daddy Yankee, Mr. Fingers, and Aventura”, according to Rockstar Games. MOTOMAMI Los Santos also played Rosalía’s ‘La Fama’ featuring The Weeknd as well as tracks from Arca.

When last we heard from Arca, she announced her upcoming album KICK ii with "Born Yesterday," a single featuring Sia. It was unsurprising to see how well Arca took to anthemic pop music considering how many shapes her sound has taken over the years, and she's not done experimenting with chart-topping music: "Prada" and "Rakata," two new KICK ii singles out today, offer a twisted and apocalyptic vision of reggaeton.

Arca has confirmed details of her much-anticipated fourth album KiCk i. It's officially due out June 26 via XL Recordings and, for the first time on an Arca album, there will be collaborations: Björk, Rosalía, Shygirl, and SOPHIE will all appear on the album.
