This kicked off with news of new artists set to headline the Acoustic Stage, followed by details on those who have joined the Field Of Avalon line-up, Shangri-La area, Fields of Avalon, Silver Hayes, The Glade and more.Now, the stacked line-up for the Woodsies area has been revealed, with a host of artists being added to the bill.Joining previously revealed artists Jamie xx, Romy, James Blake and Sleaford Mods is ‘90s alt-rock legend and former Sonic Youth icon, Kim Gordon, who recently dropped her critically acclaimed second solo album, ‘The Collective’.Also joining the listing for the 2024 Woodsies stage includes The Vaccines, as well as Lambrini Girls, Voice of Baceprot and The K’s.

The Los Angeles Festival of Movies was launched by Micah Gottlieb and Sarah Winshall, and will open April 4 with Jane Schoenbrun’s “I Saw the TV Glow.” Closing night film is Conner O’Malley and Danny Scharar’s “Rap World” on April 7. Kim Gordon has announced her second solo LP ‘The Collective’ and has shared its lead single ‘Bye Bye’.The track sees Gordon hauntingly recite a packing list alongside a dark, trap beat and squealing synths. It is the first song to be shared from ‘The Collective’ which is set for release on March 8 via Matador and is available to pre-order and pre-save here.Directed by filmmaker Clara Balzary – the daughter of Flea – the track’s accompanying video stars Gordon and Thurston Moore‘s daughter Coco Gordon Moore and sees her sneak out of a house and run away to a motel where she changes her clothes, cuts her hair and dances around. Kim shortly shows up to pick her up in a truck from which Coco jumps out and runs away.‘The Collective’ follows Gordon’s 2019 solo debut ‘No Home Record‘.
