The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett has called for the band to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.His comments follow a recent interview with Rolling Stone, ahead of the iconic electronic band kicking off the Australian leg of their ‘Disrupta Tour’ – marking their first shows in the country in five years.During the discussion, Howlett recalled that he had never cared about the band being introduced to the prestigious Rock Hall up until recently, and now hoped they would be considered in future years.“It’s not something I’ve ever thought about, but yeah, as you spoke about it we should be up there. Make it happen!” he told the outlet.He also added that, while he has never put much emphasis on the charts either, it was seeing the band being able to crack the US that made him have a new sense of pride with the music and opened him up to things like the Rock Hall.Recalling a milestone moment that happened with their huge 1997 album, Howlett explained: “I never gave a fuck about the charts.

The Prodigy have announced their first US headline show since the death of Keith Flint, due to take place in San Fransisco.Taking place on April 14 at San Francisco’s The Warfield, the gig will be their first headline show in the United States since 2017.The San Fransisco gig will happen while The Prodigy are in the US for Coachella, with the concert scheduled for the first weekend after the Californian festival. It will also be the first show the band is playing since the death of Keith Flint in 2019.“We are buzzed to be playing live in the USA again,” the electronic music band wrote in an Instagram caption announcing the news.

The memoir recalls what it was like to be part of the group during their first decade, and comes with previously unseen photography from their earliest raves up until the peak of their fame.In the new interview, Thornhill recalled the impact that the loss of the frontman had on him, as well as his future with the band.The legendary singer died on March 4, 2019 after taking his own life at the age of 49.“I love him and I always will.

The Prodigy have been confirmed as the headliners for the 2025 edition of Snowbombing.The first wave of artists for the 2025 instalment of the Austrian festival have been shared today (October 22), with it taking place at the the village of Mayrhofen between April 7 and April 12.Having taken place at the site for over a quarter of a century now, the 2025 line-up is led by The Prodigy, and arrives shortly after the legendary electronic dance group announced details of their 2024 UK ‘Distrupra’ tour.It also comes after their set at this year’s Reading festival scored a four-star review by NME which read: “This is a glossily produced and sensationally life-affirming gig. The Prodigy have announced details of a reissue of ‘Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned’ to mark its 20th anniversary.The album is the fourth LP to be shared by the English electronic group, and arrived in the UK on August 23, 2004 via XL and Maverick Records.
