Ayrshire College music students are on the right track after meeting one of the UK’s top DJs for a special Q&A event.

Swedish House Mafia will headline the Saturday night of this year’s Creamfields Festival.The EDM trio will play the Arc Stage on Saturday, August 23, in what is billed as a UK festival exclusive.Swedish House Mafia have a storied history with Creamfields. They were part of its Cream club nights in the early 2000s and first played the festival in a history-making set back in 2007.Creamfields returns across the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 21-24 in Daresbury, Cheshire.Last month, Anyma was confirmed as the first headliner and is set to close out the festival on Sunday night (August 24).Also set to perform are David Guetta, Boris Brejcha, Chase & Status, Eric Prydz, Fisher, Sara Landry, Hardwell, Amelie Lens, Dom Dolla, Hannah Laing, Camelphat, Ewan McVicar, Duke Dumont, Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Sonny Fodera, Fatboy Slim, Josh Baker, Andy C, Gaskin, HorsegirL, Eats Everything, Franky Wah, AZYR, Ben Hemsley, Ben Nicky, Martin Garrix, and Gorgon City.

The Prodigy have been confirmed as the headliners for the 2025 edition of Snowbombing.The first wave of artists for the 2025 instalment of the Austrian festival have been shared today (October 22), with it taking place at the the village of Mayrhofen between April 7 and April 12.Having taken place at the site for over a quarter of a century now, the 2025 line-up is led by The Prodigy, and arrives shortly after the legendary electronic dance group announced details of their 2024 UK ‘Distrupra’ tour.It also comes after their set at this year’s Reading festival scored a four-star review by NME which read: “This is a glossily produced and sensationally life-affirming gig. In Flint’s absence, Maxim carries the show almost entirely himself.”Also on the line-up for Snowbombing 2025 is DJ and producer Armand Van Helden, who is expected to bring hits like ‘My My My’ and ‘You Don’t Know Me’ to the site.

The Streets, Maisie Peters and Ghetts are among artists that have been announced in the next wave of acts for Boardmasters 2024.Professor Green, Cat Burns, Future Utopia and Sammy Virji are also set to perform at the Cornwall surf and music festival from 7-11 August, joining the previously announced Stormzy, Sam Fender, Chase & Status, Becky Hill and more.The latest wave of acts completes the 2024 line-up, where hundreds of acts will perform across 11 stages at two sites on the Cornish Coast – Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach.The DJ line-up for this year is completed by Ewan McVicar, Eliza Rose, Hedex and Eskman, Andy C, Hannah Laing and more.Other artists set to perform at the 2024 edition include Bicep, Nia Archives, Tom Odell, Soft Play, English Teacher and Katy B.Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
