Swedish House Mafia will headline the Saturday night of this year’s Creamfields Festival.The EDM trio will play the Arc Stage on Saturday, August 23, in what is billed as a UK festival exclusive.Swedish House Mafia have a storied history with Creamfields. They were part of its Cream club nights in the early 2000s and first played the festival in a history-making set back in 2007.Creamfields returns across the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 21-24 in Daresbury, Cheshire.Last month, Anyma was confirmed as the first headliner and is set to close out the festival on Sunday night (August 24).Also set to perform are David Guetta, Boris Brejcha, Chase & Status, Eric Prydz, Fisher, Sara Landry, Hardwell, Amelie Lens, Dom Dolla, Hannah Laing, Camelphat, Ewan McVicar, Duke Dumont, Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Sonny Fodera, Fatboy Slim, Josh Baker, Andy C, Gaskin, HorsegirL, Eats Everything, Franky Wah, AZYR, Ben Hemsley, Ben Nicky, Martin Garrix, and Gorgon City.

Glastonbury Festival has announced they will replace the Arcadia spider with a giant dragonfly in the lineup reveal for this year’s edition.The Arcadia spider has become an iconic symbol of the festival over the years. Created by the Arcadia collective, who introduced their first installation at Glastonbury in 2007 with The Afterburner, the spider became a permanent fixture in 2014, with the huge installation made from scrapyard looming over huge names like The Chemical Brothers, Skepta, Floating Points and more last year.The spider has since appeared every year except in 2019, where it was replaced by a giant repurposed crane dubbed ‘Pangea’ for that edition.Now, the festival have revealed the latest Arcadia stage will not feature the spider, but rather a “giant biomechanical” dragonfly instead.“Arcadia kicks off a whole new chapter at Glastonbury with their boldest installation yet,” the festival wrote on their website.

Lufthaus, Robbie Williams‘ dance side project has revealed they are set to make their UK live debut at Creamfields 2024.The dance project – comprised of Williams, Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe – are set to play the sunset slot on the Arc stage on the festival’s final day. Creamfields is set to take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 22-25 at its usual site in Daresbury, Cheshire.

Chase & Status, Becky Hill, Rudimental and a host of other artists have been announced as the first acts for BBC Radio 1‘s Big Weekend 2024.Ella Henderson, Diplo, Eric Prydz, Kenya Grace, Sonny Fodera, Dimension and Hannah Laing have also been confirmed for the opening day at this year’s annual bash which will take place at Stockwood Park in Luton from May 24-26.Tickets priced at £29.50 (plus a £4.50 booking fee per ticket) will go on sale at 5pm GMT this Thursday (March 21) and can be purchased here. Creamfields North have unveiled a stacked line-up for its 2023 edition.Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Tiësto and Becky Hill lead the new line-up announcement for the Cheshire festival, with Eric Prydz, DJ Snake, Diplo, Four Tet and Chase and Status all set to play. Joining them will be Martin Garrix, Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong, Armin van Buuren, Camelphat and more.
