Swedish House Mafia‘s Steve Angello revealed that the group have “scrapped” the material that would have been the follow up album to 2022’s ‘Paradise Again‘.The trio – comprised of Angello, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso – have released two singles since their 2022 debut LP. The two singles were ‘Lioness’ with Niki & the Dove and ‘Finally’ – a collab with Alicia Keys that reimagines Kings Of Tomorrow and Julie McKnight’s 2001 track of the same name.In an interview with Billboard, Angello was asked about the progress of a new album from the group.

Swedish House Mafia will headline the Saturday night of this year’s Creamfields Festival.The EDM trio will play the Arc Stage on Saturday, August 23, in what is billed as a UK festival exclusive.Swedish House Mafia have a storied history with Creamfields. Swedish House Mafia have announced a huge six-week residency at the famed Ushuaïa venue in Ibiza later this year.The trio of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso took to social media this past weekend to announce the residency, their first in Ibiza in over a decade. Per their post, they will perform for six consecutive Sundays at Ushuaïa between July and August.The full line-up of supporting acts have yet to be announced.

Swedish House Mafia have debuted a new collaboration with Alicia Keys at a recent show in San Francisco.The producer trio — who were playing in the city as part of their ‘Paradise Again’ tour — enlisted Keys on stage, where she performed the as-yet unreleased song ‘Finally’. The track itself is a cover of the Kings of Tomorrow song of the same name, which featured the singer Julie McKnight.For their part, Swedish House Mafia and Keys bring an atmospheric touch to the 2000 original, pairing the singer’s R&B vocals with the trio’s trademark build-ups and bass drops.
