Peggy Gou has announced details of a debut album titled ‘I Hear You’, and dropped the latest single ‘1+1=11’. Check it out below.Announced today (April 4), the upcoming LP will mark the first full-length album to be shared by the Korean-born artist, producer and DJ, following on from a string of hit singles including ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’ and the Lenny Kravitz collaboration ‘I Believe In Love Again’.Titled ‘I Hear You’, the 10-track release will be shared on June 7 via XL Recordings – and you can pre-order it here.“‘I Hear You’ is more than just my debut album,” Gou said of the upcoming project.

Katcy Stephan WME has promoted Francesca Blackburn and Alex Rowley Egarian to partner in the brand partnerships department, Variety has learned exclusively. London-based Blackburn joined WME as an assistant in 2007 and was promoted to agent in 2018. Blackburn initially worked in the music department before joining the brand partnerships team when the group expanded to London.

Lufthaus, Robbie Williams‘ dance side project has revealed they are set to make their UK live debut at Creamfields 2024.The dance project – comprised of Williams, Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe – are set to play the sunset slot on the Arc stage on the festival’s final day. Creamfields is set to take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 22-25 at its usual site in Daresbury, Cheshire.

Peggy Gou has announced her biggest London headliner to date, which will take place at Gunnersbury Park in the west of the capital this summer.Gou will be performing on August 17 and will be joined by Brazilian tech house DJ Mochakk, as well as LSDXOXO, Sally C and Hiver.Tickets will go on sale on Friday (February 23) at 10am – you can buy yours here.Gou’s debut album is expected to arrive this year through XL Recordings, but a release date and further details have not yet been announced. In 2015, tickets went in less than an hour, while it took less than half a day for the festival to sell out in 2022.Coachella 2024 is set to run from April 12-14 and again on April 19-21.

The Last Dinner Party have been named the winner of the BBC’s Sound of 2024 poll.The London-based indie band and NME 100 alumni, made up of Abigail Morris, Lizzie Mayland, Emily Roberts, Georgia Davies and Aurora Nishevci, were chosen as winners by a panel of over 140 music industry experts and artists.The band beat out Olivia Dean, who came second, and Peggy Gou, Tyla and Elmiene, who rounded out the top five spots.The achievement follows a massive breakout year for the band, who featured on NME’s The Cover in December.In that interview, they opened up about their meteoric rise, saying, “It can feel a bit like going in a car really fast and not being in charge of the steering wheel. We’re trying to ignore the words ‘hype’ and ‘buzzy band’ and just focus on what grounds us: playing, writing and rehearsing our music.”Speaking about topping the list, the band said: “We are overjoyed to have won BBC Radio 1’s Sound Of Award for 2024! The Primavera Sound organizers have announced details of the Barcelona leg of the global music festival for 2024, with Lana Del Rey, SZA, and Pulp all confirmed as headliners. The festival will take place on May 29-June 2 at at Parc del Fòrum.

Peggy Gou has joined forces with Grammy winner and rock icon Lenny Kravitz on her latest single ‘I Believe In Love Again’.The collaboration follows Gou’s summer hit ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’ with both songs set to feature on her forthcoming debut LP, which is due out via XL Recordings in the new year.Speaking of the track in a press release, the DJ and Producer said: “The 90s have had such a huge influence on my music. The festival will run from December 28, 2023 to January 1, 2024 at Barunah Plains in Hesse, Victoria.Leading the line-up are Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL, British drill rapper Central Cee and South Korean DJ and producer Peggy Gou.
