Mad Cool festival have teamed up, and announced the full line-up for the 2025 edition. Check it out below.Mad Cool 2025 will run between July 10 and 13 this year, and return to its home of Villaverde in Madrid.Festival organisers have shared that the site has undergone a series of improvements –including a reduction in the number of stages, as well as a general reduction in public capacity to reduce schedule conflicts and artist overlaps.

The Prodigy have been confirmed as the headliners for the 2025 edition of Snowbombing.The first wave of artists for the 2025 instalment of the Austrian festival have been shared today (October 22), with it taking place at the the village of Mayrhofen between April 7 and April 12.Having taken place at the site for over a quarter of a century now, the 2025 line-up is led by The Prodigy, and arrives shortly after the legendary electronic dance group announced details of their 2024 UK ‘Distrupra’ tour.It also comes after their set at this year’s Reading festival scored a four-star review by NME which read: “This is a glossily produced and sensationally life-affirming gig. In Flint’s absence, Maxim carries the show almost entirely himself.”Also on the line-up for Snowbombing 2025 is DJ and producer Armand Van Helden, who is expected to bring hits like ‘My My My’ and ‘You Don’t Know Me’ to the site.

Jungle have kicked off a new era with a soulful new single, ‘Let’s Go Back’, ahead of their arena shows next week.Their new single is the first since their regular collaborator Lydia Kitto joined the project full-time, expanding Jungle to a trio for the first time. Kitto first worked with founding members J Lloyd and Tom McFarland on their 2021 single ‘Keep Moving’ and later their 2021 album ‘Loving In Stereo’.

HYPER: The Stevie Hyper D Story, the upcoming film is set to explore the impressive life and career of the artist, who was a pioneer in the d’n’b and jungle scenes in the UK across the ‘90s.In the documentary, Darrell Austin – Stevie Hyper D’s nephew – goes on a personal journey through the music scene in London, and explores the impact and legacy that his uncle left behind.As well as looking at the musician’s early life, rise to fame, and untimely death in 1998, HYPER will also see unique conversations with close friends, family members and musical peers, as well as Darrell Austin confronting his own experiences of grief and mental health struggles.“Hi, I’m Darryl Austin, Stevie Hyper D’s nephew,” he can be heard saying in the trailer, while footage shows him admiring the late artist’s possessions. “In this box is Steve’s history… I’ve been avoiding this for a long time.”He continued: “I felt like the whole family was robbed of seeing someone that worked so hard have it, then it all go straight away.

Jungle and drum & bass pioneer DJ Randall has died at age 54. Tributes have since been shared by fellow musicians, industry peers and fans.The news was confirmed by a representative of DJ Randall to Resident Advisor earlier today (August 1).The veteran DJ, real name Randall McNeil, has frequently been referred to as the “godfather of breakbeat”.

Check it out below.The iconic Worthy Farm festival shared its official 2024 line-up for Glastonbury last month– with Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA confirmed as headlining the iconic Pyramid Stage this summer, while Shania Twain performs in the legends slot on the Sunday.In the time since that main announcement, the organisers have begun counting down the weeks to this year’s edition by gradually announcing the artists playing at other stages around the site.

It’ll contain the previous singles ‘So Tell Me’, ‘Crowded Roomz’ and ‘Forbidden Feelingz’.Per a press release, the forthcoming collection will see Nia explore “loneliness and the intense potential power of silence (something louder than noise could ever be)” as well as “relationships, family, navigating her 20s and more”.The artist worked on ‘Silence Is Loud’ with the songwriter and producer Ethan P.

BRIT Awards has announced more live performers for this year’s ceremony – find all the details below.The 2024 edition of the awards is due to take place at The O2 in London on Saturday, March 2.
