Terminal V Festival is all set to welcome techno fans back through its gates after an extremely difficult and trying two years through the coronavirus pandemic.

If you're a long-running EastEnders fan you'll remember the friendly face of cab driver Charlie Slater who arrived in Walford with his four daughters and mother-in-law Mo Harris back in 2000.The doting father of four to Lynne, Kat, Little Mo, and Zoe Slater was played by Derek Martin who became an iconic and well-loved character on the BBC soap for an impressive 15 years. During his time on EastEnders, he was found in the midst of some vast storylines often relating to his daughters, including Kat's heartbreaking abuse from his brother Harry to being charged with GBH after defending Little Mo.

There was also a ginormous birthday cake covered in fruit for the birthday boy, and the words "Happy 90th Birthday Derek" were written in icing on top.

Where would the BBC’s hit soap EastEnders be without the famous Slater family? The iconic Slator clan made their stamp on the popular TV show to replace the Italian Di Marco family. Sisters Zoe, Kat, Little Mo and Lynne all moved into the Square with their father Cabbie Charlie, played by Derek Martin.

As Bad Robot is ramping up its series portfolio, adding a slate of HBO Max projects to the mix, the company is bulking up its television team. Bad Robot has hired Alex Phillips as VP of Television. She joins VP Kira Innes, who joined the company a year ago, as well as Bad Robot’s Jamila Kerr, who has been promoted to VP, and Derek Martin, who has been upped to Director of Television.
